Lecturer of suburban camps

The bachelor's thesis entitled "Lecturer of suburban camps" deals with the professional prerequisites that a lecturer of suburban camps should have. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the professional areas of free time pedagogy, which are closely related to the teaching activity. It also deals with basic legislation that concerns teaching staff and suburban camps. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to compare the requirements of the lecturers and the demands of the organizers for a new lecturer and, based on this, to propose the structure of the selection process and the content of the refresher course for lecturers with non-pedagogical education. The output of the research part of the work is to describe the professional requirements of the organizers for potential lecturers based on interviews. I also deal with pedagogical education and the experience of lecturers. At the end of the work, I present the recommendations resulting from the interviews for the organizers of suburban camps. Active ageing in the times of covid. Experiences of the organizers of free time activities

The topic of this thesis is the experiences of employees and volunteers working in centres and clubs for the elderly people that organize leisure activities for their clients. These organisations fulfil the idea of active ageing, which they define as healthy and correct way of ageing. Activity, participation and social contact are important aspects of this concept, which should lead to an improved quality of life in old age, physical and mental health and other benefits. However, during the spring of 2020, all activities of the centres (and other institutions) were interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Elderly people were advised to stay home and isolate themselves. This, however, brought additional risks for them. Loneliness in old age is a debated topic that was accentuated during the pandemic. This thesis uses qualitative methods, and my communication partners are volunteers, lecturers and managers of the senior centres and clubs who worked there throughout the pandemic and beyond. Using in-depth qualitative, semi-open-ended interviews, this thesis is interested in how they coped with the sudden closure during the pandemic and what strategies they adopted to protect their clients. The specifics of the implementation and the availability of leisure activities for people with visual impairment

The bachelor's thesis deals with the implementation and availability of leisure activities for the visually impaired. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to focus on the specifics of the implementation of leisure activities for the visually impaired and their values and needs during their free time. On this basis a qualitative study focused on the specifics of the realization of leisure activities for people with visual impairments and its accessibility is carried out. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and research part. The theoretical part contains three main areas definning visual impairment, leisure time and the implementation and availability of leisure activities in connection with visually impaired people. Subsequently, these main areas are supplemented by sub-areas that deal with specific leisure activities of the visually impaired and their division. Specifics of the implementation of leisure activities, the importance of leisure time and institutions covering the leisure activities of the visually impaired. In the research part of the thesis a qualitative method was used to gather the information. The research contains the methodology and describes the technique of data collection. Data is collected by a semi-structured interview method. This research group consists of adults with visual impairments. The obtained data is analysed by categorisation according to preset criteria. At the end of the research part, the data is then evaluated. A number of facts arose due to the research. It ensues that visually impaired individuals use a number of specifics to carry out leisure activities. The offer is wide and the availability itself is influenced by the individual, residence, age and also the surroundings. The output of the bachelor's thesis can be used as study material for students of study programs focused on jobs that aim to help people in need. It can also be used for organisations that offer leisure activities for the visually impaired people.
Needs of Leisure Time Activities of Aging Population in the Vajgar Housing Estate in Jindřichův Hradec

The bachelor's thesis deals with the needs of leisure activities of the aging population in the Vajgar housing estate in Jindřichův Hradec. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, which deals with the issue of leisure time, its functions, aging, approaches to aging, leisure activities, forms of leisure activities and factors influencing the active use of leisure time. Furthermore, the current situation of leisure activities in the Vajgar housing estate is analyzed, as well as institutions and organizations that deal with leisure time. And the practical part, where a quantitative research survey was conducted. The aim of the work was to map what possibilities of leisure activities people over 55 have in the Vajgar housing estate in Jindřichův Hradec. Also what activities they would be interested in. In connection with the mentioned goal, a hypothesis was established: H1: In the Vajgar housing estate in Jindřichův Hradec, there are no opportunities for active leisure time for residents aged 55 and over. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of a questionnaire survey of 146 respondents, and the results show that residents who do not lack opportunities for leisure activities in the Vajgar housing estate would also be interested in new opportunities for leisure activities. Respondents preferred unorganized and passive ways of spending free time. Their opinion did not depend on age or gender. In the end, there is a reflection on a possible solution to the needs of the aging population regarding leisure needs in the locality. This work could be a source of information for community planning, but it would be appropriate to carry out further more detailed research, on the basis of which final decisions could be made.
The comparison of eating habits of primary school pupils in a small town and a regional town

The topic of this thesis is a research of eating habits of pupils visiting the second grade of an elementory school. School age is denoted as a dynamic age important for physical and psychical growth. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate eating habits and free time activities of second grade pupils and to find out if there is a difference between pupils of a small village school and reginal town school. The method of gaining the research data was a survey. The method is quantitative then. Research was done at two schools, namely ZŠ Dříteň in a small village in South Bohemian Region and at České reálné gymnázium in České Budějovice. Pupils of seventh and nineth grades were respondents of the questionnaire. 88 pupils were addressed. Frequency of daily meals, frequency of eating patricular nutritive types plus its popularity and unpopularity, drinking regime and selection of drinks and free time activities were evaluated. The result of the thesis is the detection of minor differences in consumption od particular drinks and nutritive, but in lifestyle too, between children of a small village and regional town. The were not attacked any essential differences between the two schools. Daily meals frequence was pretty equal at both schools. Negative finding is that only 50% of pupils have breakfast usually. Drinking regime was underestimated at both schools. Consumption of particular drinks differs a little - a finding has been made that pupils of a small school tend to drink more inappropriate drinks, such as sweeted lemonades and energy drinks. Pupils of a small school tend to consume vegetable, meat, legumes and salted delicacies, while larger school pupils tend to consume more fruit, sweet delicacies, eggs and fastfood. The were not any essential differences between the school in free time activities. Pupils of both schools prefer to spend their free time going outside with friends, walking, running, ball games playing and fitness, that is a very positive result. More than 80 % of pupils do some sport activities on a daily basis. Pupils for both schools, of course have to improve in certain aspects, however the results point out that their eating habits cannot be described as completely inappropriate.
Possibilities of spending leisure time in the conditions of a small village - Bílsko in South Bohemia

The presented work deals with leisure time as a phenomenon, the importance of which will probably continue to increase in the future, and the possibilities of spending free time in the village of Bílsko in southern Bohemia. The theoretical part characterizes the concept of leisure time, its history, its functions and different views on leisure time. The work also describes current trends in leisure time, presents the results of previous surveys on the most frequently run leisure activities and there are also described problems with the use of leisure time. The village of Bílsko is characterized here, including its history and demographic composition. This part of the work is based on professional Czech and foreign publications and relevant Internet resources. The practical part presents specific activities in the municipality of Bílsko, both organized and unorganized. Furthermore, the results of a questionnaire survey are presented, which deals with the possibilities of spending free time in the village, where these results can then serve the management of the village Bílsko as inspiration in creating leisure activities.

Anotation This work deals with the existence of little class schools. I clarify to the readers the history of little class schools, define the concept of little class schools, describe teaching at this school and focus on teachers and students in this type of a school. The theoretical part describes the school as an entity that creates very good conditions for the formation of leisure activities. Furthermore, the practical part describes the little class school in the village Sokoleč, where I work as an aducator at the school care center.
